Aston Villa have been linked to yet another young winger, further fuelling the fire that their own winger Young may be on his way out in the summer. Gerard Houllier has been linked to the likes of Lille’s Gervinho, Basel duo Valentin Stocker and Xherdan Shaqiri and Le Havre wide man Ryan Mendes in recent weeks. You can now add Polish international Maciej Rybus to that list after reports in his homeland suggested that, along with Udinese, Villa had scouts monitoring the 21-year-old prospect. The youngster is valued in Poland as one of their brightest talents, supported by the fact that he has already notched up 12 senior international caps, scoring one goal. Rybus joined Legia Warsaw in 2007 at the age of just 17, making his debut in November of that year. He quickly began establishing himself as a first team regular, last season making 36 club appearances, netting 3 times and assisting just twice. This term he has played just 485 minutes of 11 league games, scoring once. His contract runs until the summer of 2013, with TalkSport speculating that the 21-year-old is valued at around £1.5m
