Jeff Vetere only signed as chief scout at Aston Villa in November of last year but has already sought pastures new. Having previously worked at West Ham before switching to the sunnier skies of Real Madrid, Vetere has returned to his old stomping ground at Charlton Athletic, where he will adopt the role of Director of Football. I know that the club and Houllier in particular, was delighted to bring a scout of such pedigree to the club last year but the feeling hasn’t exactly lasted long and we venture on regardless. UTV!
