Gerard Houllier is set to offer Mohammed Sissoko a second chance to make a name for himself in the Premier League after falling out of favour at Juventus. Sissoko signed for Turin giants from Liverpool in a deal worth around £8m and is thought that the Italian side are looking to recoup the majority of that fee in order to be forced into a sale. £7m should be enough to see a bid accepted for the 25-year-old with the Villa side currently short on numbers in midfield with countless injuries. The Mali international has started just two of Juve’s league games this season. It is thought that Juve have targeted Villa as a team to offload the player to along with Schalke and Zenit St. Petersburg. Sissoko has made 63 appearances for Juventus, scoring on 3 occasions.
