It shapes up to be a revolutionary season for Aston Villa.
The Lions will launch their 2024/25 Premier League home kit on Tuesday, July 23, but online leaks have already uncovered the look of the club’s shirt for the upcoming season.
With Unai Emery preparing to lead the Birmingham outfit on a historic Champions League journey following a stunning fourth-place finish in 2023/24, Villa are ready to make radical changes.
To begin with, the Villans have changed their kit manufacturer, swapping Castore for Adidas. Only two years after signing a multi-year contract with the British sportswear brand, they’ve decided to move on.
As Villa celebrate the club’s 150th anniversary, they’ve trusted Adidas to become the new kit manufacturer, seeking a touch of class and style ahead of a landmark campaign.
Hailing the new partnership with the German sportswear giant, Chris Hack, the President of Business Operations, couldn’t hide his excitement.
“The announcement of the partnership with Adidas, the biggest technical partnership in the Club’s history, follows the announcement of our new front-of-shirt partner, Betano, a couple of weeks ago and marks another milestone on the journey to grow our business on the global stage,” he said.
Like all 24/25 Premier League kits, the Lions will stick to their traditional colours, with a maroon base forming a backdrop for a white Adidas logo and sky blue applications.
Among the standout features of the Adidas design is a new Villa crest, while Betano replaces BK8 as the front-of-shirt sponsor.
Villa’s new kit boasts the same material as the new Arsenal and Bayern Munich 2024/25 shirts, with the fabric similar to the 2018 Climachill material.
The club’s 150th-anniversary mark rests on the back under the collar, adding a special commemorative touch to the new design.
Per online leaks, Villa’s away kit will feature a white base with black stripes on the panels and sleeves.
