Villa team to face Doncaster

Villa’s FA Cup fourth round replay with Doncaster is kicking off soon so I thought I’d do a quick post for those who are not at the ground with the starting team.

MON has shuffled things around a bit, making 7 changes, with the Blackburn game in mind. A few non-regulars get a chance tonight and Ashley Young returns from suspension.

Here’s the team:

Guzan

L Young – Davies – Cuellar – Shorey

Gardner – Sidwell – Salifou -A Young

Carew – Delfouneso

Shorey gets himself another chance to get back in contention, giving Luke Young a rare run-out in his proper position. Gardner is again in the side, this time in place of Milner and Salifou gets another opportunity to win some of his doubters over. Cuellar also gets a run in his preferred position and the other American Brad gets to guard the goal.

The most interesting thing to watch though, will be Big John up top with The Fonz. Make sure you’re watching the boys.

And remember… no booing!
