New Football Manager Style Player Profiles Feature
As a huge football fan I naturally assume that all other huge football fans are huge Football Manager fans! Why wouldn’t you be? Ahead of the new season, a quite a way ahead I must admit, I am working on a new Player Profiles section of the site based around the on-screen stylings of the game.
This activity should be a real test for my unparalleled (not) Photoshop skills so be patient with me! The idea is to update the profiles through next season with up-to-date stats and news articles related to each player etc. Obviously one would usually start with the clubs No.1 but we are lacking a first choice goalkeeper at the moment so I am starting with the clubs No.2, Luke Young. Will try to upload a new profile every day. Let me know what you think of the idea/outcome and suggestions for improvements are more than welcome. The eventual outcome will no longer look a lot worse than this but it’s just a general idea!

You could do something like this which was database driven which would be much easier than doing individual pages per player.
I think this a very fine idea, as I’m a huge Football Manager fan myself. It gives a quick overview over prefered position, contract length etc. The graphics that show their stats, is that you own evaluation of the players stats or is it just ingame stats?
Another feature for the player profiles could be something like they did on this Blackpool blog http://tangerinedreaming.wordpress.com/2011/06/13/charlie-adam-an-honest-appraisal/
It is very comprehensive and will take a lot of time, but I think it is a really nice feature.
Wonderful Initiative. Got a suggestion
If you could increase the font size a bit it would be much easier on the eye. As the same fonts are hurting them.
Thank you
