Nathan Delfouneso may be on his way to Palace
No, he’s not going to see the Queen, he is wanted by Crystal Palace in a loan deal to try and help them gain more bite upfront. Palace have slipped into a bad run of form and the Villa youngster is seen by Neil Warnock as a possible solution.
No deals are on the table as yet, but Warnock has made his interest public.
Experience
It might not be a bad idea for Villa, as the youngster will be able to gain some valuable experience, which he will struggle to get with us for a while as Gabby, Heskey and Carew are all performing well.
An injury crisis up front would be The Fonz’s way into the side but usually loan deals include a 48 hour call back, so there should be no worries there. And I doubt he would get too settled there and not want to come back, as he is a local lad.
I say, let him go and get some matches.
Up the Villa.

I agree, let him get out there and experience some first team football. We need to impress on Palace that he needs to be played and not just sat around however.
Keep him, MON will play him in both FA and UEFA cup’s. We have 4 strikers (not counting the Hare) and are still in 3 competitions. Villa need everyone.
I am a palace fan, he would be played upfront alongside Rui Fonte, a fantastic young strikeforce, beats Alan Lee, kuqi and Scowcroft at the moment.
Would be good for Palace as we need a pacey forward & knowing the players that O’Neil likes we know he’d be a quality short-term addition. We do not take loan players & not play them, we had Scott Sinclair last season after his loan with Charlton was terminated for not being played, he played every game including the two Play-Off legs.
I hope we let him go so he can get a bit of experience….
hes scored three goals in only a few games and i think that shows the quality he has and that when the chances come his way he will bury them!
I think he would come back a much better player and im sure he would get a good amount of goals too depending on how regularly he plays….
I cant wait to see him starting up front for Villa in the future, i can guarantee he will be a brilliant striker… He could play with Gabby upfront and he even gives us the option to play him with Carew or Heskey upfront and play Gabby on the wing which would give us that amazing counter attack speed from both sides of the pitch!
ive got a really good feeling that we have found that 20 goal a season striker we have been missing for the last how many years…. and we got him for nothing, just another product from the best academy in the world!
UTV!!!
