Aston Villa vs Blackburn Rovers Pre-Match Predictions
A third attempt at my new prediction feature, in which I have been too optimistic it seems in the. After predicting a draw with Stoke and a win against Bolton I’m still going to stick to my Villa guns and predict a win for Houllier in his first game. The team line-up represents a much tougher challenge than the Bolton game which I guessed correctly with the new manager bringing in new ideas and tactics but I’ll have a punt. Please test yourself against my predictions and I’ll give an honourable mention anyone who can get the team line up and result bang on!

Sorry my friend but you’ve not been reading in-between the lines of the feedback both from G H and K Mac. My prediction is:
Brad – Brad senior to take a rest
Sadly – beyer…. Yes I really dislike this player after his Rapid performance that i’m not even bothered to check his spelling of his name – For Sale in Jan Please
Big Carlos – Dunne was played against Bolton NOT 100% fit
Collins – even though he to needs a rest but Sadly our bright talent being offered to Fergy needs more premiership starts and drop both Collins and Dunne surely K Clark should be on in the 2nd half if we are in control
Luke Young – No real alternative.
Midfield : Bannan, Reo Coker, Sidwell, Ashley Young
Talk is Ashley gets picked for England so needs to play that role to remain in the England fold – read into that what you may – round pegs for round holes ? Or keeping up his value for the next or one after transfer window – Yes I’m a Sceptic
Ireland – clearly needs games but in the whole behind:
Gabby.
So that’s a rest for Petrov (needed in my opinion) the same goes for Albrighton (again needed for the Wolves game) and Downing has a gash to the shin.
Guzan
Beyer(hope I’m wrong), Cueller, Collins, Luke Young
Bannan. Reo Coker. Sidwell. Ashley Young
Ireland.
Gabby.
Subs: Friedal, Clark, Warnock, Downing, Carew And I really hope Delfouneso ( not Heskey – Please
Prediction: Villa to win (just) by One goal. 3-2
First goal on 5 mins Gabby – to impress the new Boss
Most influential player: Reo Coker…..
However Brad Guzan will play a big part – good or bad who’s to say
Thanks David.
